Today’s post brought this lovely package…..
… and I can tell you no more about it, other than we have a rehearsal read through Monday in Manchester.
And I’m doing a great film project in Manchester over the next few weeks. I can tell you no more about that either…. 🙂
All will be revealed my friends, and all will be good.
Have a great weekend
Dave X
P.S. Wishing all these protesting at Downing Street well for today, though I don’t expect to see it on the news. Make their pips squeak!
Hi folks!
A big night for me, a couple of my short films get a public screening at the Showroom in Sheffield as part of The South Yorkshire Filmmakers Network Showroom Shorts evening.
Showing tonight will be What The Heck? Henderson’s Relish and The Yorkshire Teabaggers video for LARDY BUM.
It’s going to be a great experience for me to see them on a larger screen with a room full of strangers, so come along if you can, tonight, Tuesday 15 March 21:00, The Showroom Cinema, Paternoster Row, Sheffield S1, Main Bar, Length – 80 mins. And IT’S FREE!
If you can’t be there, then look up my shorts below on the largest screen you can!
Cheers! Dave
Added some new headshots yesterday.
Hope you like them.
And that casting people LOVE them!
I’ve made quite a few updates to my web site lately, adding video galleries and pictures/slideshows.
Have a look around. Likes and comments are welcomed.
I leave you with a picture of a sign with a lovely patina.
For Valentine’s Day I adapted a Hunks Calendar for Bex, posing for pictures I then had printed. then I glued on the calendar,
She loved it and I’d like to share the best with you!
If these don’t have you salivating, nothing will!
Season 1 of Barry Pigeon Protects reached a shocking finale on Friday….
I had a great time shooting this with the fab writer/director combo of Kurt Brookes and Andrew Birtwell. Well done lads!
What happens to Barry now???? Time will tell…
If you haven’t seen the whole series, here’s your chance… Follow this link for the whole series playlist. Follow Barry on Twitter here.
Wishing you all a super weekend!

I know, I know, I started going on about this years ago – there were potential release dates touted, but all came to nought. The joys of Indie films….
But now there is a release date – March 7th. It’s available for pre-order available here on Amazon. Not Sure about other availability as yet, but will be in stores somewhere.
UPDATE: I had this on pre-oder with Amazon and then had the email to say it would not be released until January 2017!!!!! I could spit! It is, apparently, available on Pay Per View schedules, look out for it there.
Here’s a few pics from the shoot….
I am so proud of our web series. I hope you’re enjoying it!
A different format this time for you….. This week Barry discusses the declining quality of flies, toilet time and boiled eggs….
One more episode to go now – and it’s a doozy!
Have a superb weekend my Little Valentine’s!
Tons of love
Dave
