About the Show<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Charlie Rhindress has been an Anne Murray fan since he was four years old. He has worked with the Anne Murray Centre as a Board Member and as their volunteer Outreach Coordinator off and on since 2008. In that role he has worked directly with Anne and was instrumental in helping her put together her latest album, Here You Are,<\/em> a collection of lost songs from the vault.\"\"<\/span><\/p>\n

In 2024 Rhindress\u2019s third book, Nova Scotia\u2019s Stars of Song<\/a>,<\/em> was released. The book featured a chapter about Anne. In 2025 he compiled and edited a book called Thank You, Anne!<\/em><\/a> in honour of Anne’s 80th birthday. The book was published by The Anne Murray Centre<\/a> and features stories from fans about what Anne’s music has meant to them. Rhindress decided to take all his research and turn it into a tribute show that is moving, funny and awe inspiring.

Now and Forever: A Musical Tribute to Anne Murray<\/span><\/i> premiered in 2024 and was so popular that it was remounted in 2025 and will hit the road again in 2026.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"In this show, Rhindress, as host, tells the story of Anne\u2019s life and career, as well as personal anecdotes about working with her. He is accompanied by an amazingly talented group of four women, Jennie Del Motte, Mirren Lithwick, Heather MacIntyre and Carley Varner-Joudrey, who perform over twenty of Anne\u2019s greatest hits. The singers do not attempt to impersonate Anne, but rather, celebrate her music.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Anne’s story is inspirational and her music is the soundtrack of our lives. Songs from \u201cSnowbird\u201d and \u201cLove Song\u201d to \u201cYou Needed Me,\u201d and \u201cCould I Have This Dance,\u201d will have you singing along and reminiscing about the first time you heard these remarkable tunes.<\/span><\/p>\n

We are planning to have a promotional video of the show shot this year, but for now here are a few clips that give an idea of the show. These clips were recorded live on an iPhone so the quality is not ideal, but it provides a glimpse into the show.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
