I’m on Corrie Next Week! Jan 12 & 14.

Thank you Radio Times for printing Cast Lists for shows!
Great to see my name in the RT again for next week’s episodes of Coronation St, playing Gordon, Wednesday and Friday, 12th and 14th of January.
It was lovely to be on the cobbles again, my 4th time, and to work with the legend that is Barbara Knox, the wonderful Julia Goulding and Sally-Ann Matthews – and the fab crew of course! Amazing lovely place to work.

Coronation St Cast List, Radio Times

The Coronation St Blog and  Weatherfield Gazette have a spoiler previews for the episodes next week, check the Friday episode preview if you wonder what I’m up to.

Otherwise, just set your timers and alarms and tune in next Wednesday and Friday! Jan 12 and 14th.

I hope the New Year is treating you all well. I started the Prostate Cancer UK “RUN THE MONTH” Challenge to cover a marathon distance over the month of January.
All is going well so far, I’ve done just over 10 miles of brisk walking as of today, Jan 4th, and raised £215 so far.
If you’d like to chip in a few quid, it would be much appreciated, the Fundraiser Page is here. I’m doing it for a mate who was recently diagnosed.

Back from today’s walk…

Keep walking, stay safe – and watch Corrie next week!

Love ya!

New Play-Live Online Theatre, this Sunday!

No sooner had I started my MOCKDOWN! Sunday Livestream Podcasts, when I had to take a break last Sunday and this. But I’m delighted with the reason why… I’ve been in rehearsals.

This Sunday at 6pm (UK), I’m acting in a lovely online performance of a new play, SOUVENIR, by Matt Gurr, produced by UP ‘ERE PRODUCTIONS

It’s a lovely play – and I have the amazing role of Iain. Here’s the synopsis…

“For the last 40 years, Iain and his closest friend Kit have taken secret weekend trips from Scotland to Soho to experience what life as out gay men could be like. Now aged 60, and in the wake of Kit’s death, Iain takes that trip alone for the first time and finds himself reliving old memories over one night that will change his life forever”

With Jay Olpin, Gregor Duncan, Sandy Jack & Yours Truly
Directed by John O’Neill and Jordi Williams.

Tickets are pay what you can with all money raised going to KeepTheatreAlive Up ‘Ere!

Mockdown! Episode 2

Hi folks!

Hope you’ve all survived another week, well, let’s face if, if you’re reading this, you HAVE survived, but, of course, it may have been a bit of a shit week.

This Government-led Shitshow rolls on… excess deaths, the collapse of the economy, right wing thugs on the streets… but at least I found a socially appropriate way to unload with 3 mates over a chat.

Yes, it’s Episode 2 of MOCKDOWN!

My guests this week are:

Kurt Brookes – Head of Development at MIM Productions and the producer of the upcoming BBC Radio 4 comedy series “The Likely Dads“. He is also the creator and co-everything of the webseries “Barry Pigeon Protects“.

Marie Friend – a born & bred scouser who’s now dead posh and living in Chester. Marie has trained with many acting practitioners across Manchester over the last 6 years , she is a Broadcast Journalist , experienced in Voiceover and TV presenting… and was last seen at the Hope Mill Theatre in Welcome to Shangri La…. along with myself, and my final guest…

Robyn Moore – a London born, British actress of Belgium and Polish decent. She has over 30 years of experience in theatre, film and television… including “Family Affairs” and playing Shirley Benson in “East Enders”. She also has over 20 years of experience teaching actors and professionals in acting and performance techniques.
